Travel to New York City with American Pulitzer Prize-winner Michael Cunningham; witness the devastating effects of civil war with Somalian exile and Neustadt International Prize Laureate Nuruddin Farah; journey to England’s urban north as the poet Simon Armitage explores contemporary life in all its guises; and discover the Native American reservations of North Dakota so finely imagined by celebrated storyteller Louise Erdrich.
