Shapeshifter was first included as a Festival Feature in 2004 when 2,500 visitors took the rare opportunity to visit this outdoor exhibition and purchase some of the best artwork in the country.

 

Shapeshifter 2006 will be opened with a gala event on Saturday 4 March and close on Sunday 12 March. More than 50 outdoor sculptures by leading and emerging New Zealand artists will be displayed for sale in the spacious grounds of Frederic Wallis House, Lower Hutt. All works will be selected by Tim Walker, Director of The Dowse, and the display will feature new works by leading artists.

 

Entry tickets are available for purchase at the gate each day.
